“Young people need to be proactive in securing their own future” – Lorraine Ngwenya
Name: Lorraine Nozipho Ngwenya
Business: Useful Link
Lorraine has become a formidable professional speaker and youth advocate in the last few years. Her mission is to empower youth and bring awareness to youth unemployment rates in Australia by conducting workshops, public speaking opportunities and career boot camps for youth.
Lorraine also provides university students with tips and tools on how to be employable in the future.
Her message has reached government networks, high schools, universities and even Television programs. Lorraine was recently interviewed by Oz African TV for a future episode about youth unemployment.
I sat down with Lorraine to speak about her business and how it came about:
I have had the pleasure of witnessing Lorraine speak at church functions, and I always get something out of her messages. So I would definitely recommend getting in touch with her for more information about employment after university or just any tips for university life.
Lorraine is currently giving away three free one on one sessions for university students who are about to graduate or have recently graduated to help plan out your next steps.
