Kayla Itsines, Ashy Bines, Sophie Guidolin and Tammy Hembrow are just about household names in the fitness world.
All of these women have a cult following on their social media pages from posting fitness photos and videos, and they have been fortunate enough to create their own programs that thousands of women spend money on, but are the buyers getting what they’re paying for?
I’ve always been interested in purchasing one of the above ladies’ programs, but have stopped myself for fear that I won’t see results and have wasted a large sum of money. So when a friend said they had the Sophie Guidolin six-week program I thought I’d give it a go and see what all the fuss was about.
Admittedly I was really quite skeptical as there is no meal plan to follow with the exercise program and no trainer to push you, but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and I was pleasantly surprised.
I lost two kilos and several centimetres from various parts of my body.
The program involves three workouts a week:
Monday = legs
Wednesday = Upper body
Friday = core + cardio
Cardio sessions increased each week, and the reps increased from 15 to 20 in week 4.
