Turnbull government gives the green light on exports to Middle East

The highly anticipated review into the live export of sheep to the Middle East has been released. The review, completed by vet Michael McCarthy allows the Turnbull government to let exports continue. Dscribe reporter Mitch Clarke was sent to cover this story.

A poll conducted by Dscribe asked 60 people whether they supported a ban on sending live sheep to the Middle East. 53 people voted yes on an immediate ban, whilst seven people believed the journeys should continue.

The following embedded tweets are just an insight into the public disapproval of the governments decision.
