13 not-so-spooky films to get you Halloween ready


Zombies, ghosts and ghouls – I’m afraid of them all. I was that kid who insisted on sleeping with the light on at sleepovers and having a friend with me during that seemingly long midnight walk to the bathroom.

With Halloween just around the corner, the time for a scary movie marathon is upon us. But if you’re like me and can’t handle the constant jump scenes, grotesque costumes and gore-filled massacres resulting in a stream of sleepless nights, here’s a list of 13 spooktacular films that won’t give you nightmares.

Believe me, these are tried and tested by a self-confessed scaredy-cat.
